Community Resources
The following organizations and programs may be able to provide helpful services and support to individuals and families in the Llano area. These resources include food assistance, housing support, and other community services that may be useful to current residents and applicants.
If you need additional help or have questions about these resources, please contact the Llano Housing Authority office for assistance.
Llano Senior Center
Provides daily activities and services for seniors, serves lunch Monday through Friday to persons age 60 and older, offers Meals on Wheels for homebound seniors in Llano and surrounding areas, and provides weatherization and utility assistance. Funded through the Hill Country Community Action Association (HCCAA).

Provides public transportation services for Llano and surrounding areas, helping residents get to appointments, shopping, and other essential destinations.

The Ark of Highland Lakes
Bringing Hope to the Highland Lakes
Since 2018, the Ark of Highland Lakes has united churches and community members to provide hope, healing, and transformation for neighbors experiencing crisis in our region.
The ARK offers many resources such as the A.N.D.Y. Trailer that travels to local communities and provides hot meals, casseroles and commissary to those in need, the AGAPE Dental Clinic where smiles are restored by providing Christ-centered, compassionate dental care for neighbors in need, the Ark Warehouse, the Ark Garden, and much more.
